StyleLanka.lk (”StyleLanka”) ships worldwide. Deliveries are made in cooperation with the postal services and their partners in other countries around the world. Deliveries are free to anywhere in the world and are made from warehouses at different countries straight to the customers. StyleLanka is liable if the goods are damaged or lost in transit. You will need to contact our customer service within 14 days after a notification that the order has been delivered from the warehouse. If the goods are lost or damaged when you return the product it is you who will be liable. Deliveries normally takes between 7 and 15 days, but in certain cases may take up to 30 days as it is international deliveries, and the customer will be the importer. Any local taxes, VAT etc are the responsibility of the customer. In cases where you as a customer believe that the delivery is delayed in such a way that you no longer wish to fulfill the order it is your responsibility to cancel the order in accordance with the conditions of sale. Cancellation after the order has been dispatched is not possible. In cases where the order has been dispatched, the customer is required to receive the order.
Confirmation
Once we have received your order we will send a confirmation to your email address directly and automatically. It is therefore important that you enter your real e-mail address when placing your order. Save this email in order to facilitate any contact with customer service. The order confirmation (receipt) also serves as a guarantee of proof of purchase. If you have not received this email within 3 working days, please contact our customer service.
Payment
You can choose to pay with credit or debit cards using our payment partner Stripe. Stripe manages all of our banking transactions and you can read more about their billing system on www.stripe.se. StyleLanka does not handle any credit card numbers.
Payment by Card
Pay with your Visa, MasterCard or American Express securely over the Internet. Your payment is handled by Stripe (www.stripe.com) with secure encryption and under strict banking standards. Your card details are sent directly to the bank and cannot be read or accessed by anyone other than your bank. There is no extra charge for card payments. When paying by credit / debit card starting conditions apply as soon as the card transaction is approved.
Ordering
Orders made in another person’s name without his consent, or otherwise as a result of StyleLanka suffer economic damage will be reported to the police. StyleLanka holds the right to change prices, correct incorrect prices on all orders as well as final sales. If a price is obviously incorrect, this may compel StyleLanka to cancel the purchase and refund any amount paid in the best way. This can be performed at any time.
Complaints Terms and withdrawal
It is important that you as a customer check your goods / products when you receive your shipment in order to verify that the products are not damaged and correct. If you receive your item and see that it does not match the one you ordered or is damaged, please contact us within 14 days. Any complaints shall be made to our customer service via e-mail support@stylelanka.lk, or through our contact form on the contact page. Please supply the order number and the reason for complaint and we will get back to you shortly with instructions on how to return the item. Defective products returned to StyleLanka should be treated as if they were faultless. It is in all types of returns extremely important that the product is packaged in such a way that it cannot be damaged.
In the case of that a returned product, and errors or faults cannot be detected with the product, we will take a fee of 500 Rs handling fee. StyleLanka has the right to replace defective goods with goods of the same model. If the item has been discontinued, the customer will receive a full refund. Private Consumers have the right to return their purchase within 14 days. The right applies only in the case that the product and its original packaging can be returned in the same state as when received. The consumer pays return shipping to our international warehouse. If an item is damaged during transport, StyleLanka should be contacted within 14 days.
Personal Information
During your purchase we will save some of your data to fulfill your order. StyleLanka treats all personal information confidential and nothing will be passed on to third parties. You have the right to request access to your data and if there is anything wrong you can get it changed or removed. Please also read our Privacy Policy.
Transportation Damaged Goods
If your product is damaged in transport, whether the damage is visible or hidden it must be reported immediately to the carrier within 7 days. It is therefore important that you carefully examine your package when it arrives. Transport damages must also be reported to StyleLanka, within 14 days of receipt.
Product
StyleLanka has the right to adjust prices, involve additional cost and change product information such as product pictures and offers without notice. The product images and information texts available reflect the product as much as possible. We reserve the right for any errors that may appear on the page and can not guarantee that all pictures accurately reflect the true appearance of the items. The pictures may differ depending on the color settings in your computer or device. All pictures should be seen as illustrations only, and do not guarantee correct appearance and characteristics.
Liability for defects
StyleLanka responsibility for errors in delivery is limited to existing conditions of sale. StyleLanka bears no direct or indirect responsibility for example, but not limited to, incompatibility, delivery delays, downtime, data loss, additional work or other economic harm.
Force Majeure
StyleLanka shall be exempt from liability for damages and other penalties on the performance of the contract prevented, hindered or delayed by circumstances beyond our control. As the release factor should be considered include government intervention, new/amended legislation, lack of state, war, fire, flood, labor disturbance, prohibitions, restrictions, sabotage, poor transport or weather conditions or lack of delivery from suppliers and the company is exposed to criminal activity that affects activities.
Retention of title
All products remain in StyleLanka property until full payment is made.
Applicability
These conditions are applicable where the European or other applicable laws do not provide conditions that are in conflict with them.
StyleLanka.lk is operated under the laws and regulations in Europe. Customers and users agree that European courts, with the district court in Europe as the court of first instance, will have jurisdiction over any dispute or claim relating to the use of StyleLanka.lk.
Freedom of choice
All attempts at fraud reported to the police and StyleLanka reserves the right to cancel the purchase if any suspicion is raised.
